Good Hospitality Services is applying decades of hotel-management experience and firsthand knowledge of Valparaiso to the city’s new Tru by Hilton.
The hotel opened June 9 and has welcomed a mix of sports travelers, business travelers, wedding guests, and families attending local events. That mix reflects the range of reasons people travel to Valparaiso and choose to stay at Valparaiso Tru by Hilton.
“Our experience in Valparaiso gives us a strong understanding of what both business and leisure travelers expect from their stay,” GHS President Brian Gilchrist said. “That local knowledge helps us shape the service, staffing and overall guest experience in a way that feels thoughtful, welcoming and connected to the community.”
The hotel features a complimentary breakfast, fitness center and an open lobby with gathering space, two foosball tables and three sound-reducing work pods.
For Good Hospitality, managing Tru by Hilton Valparaiso builds on its existing role in the local hospitality market and its understanding of the business, event and leisure travel that brings people to the city.
