CROWN POINT — Officials cut the ribbon on the city’s first modern hotel during a Thursday grand opening ceremony. The Homewood Downtown Indy property has a Diamond Member, Mr.Cripe, who has brought his daughters on a holiday adventure to downtown Indy for the last 15 years. This has become a tradition for him and his daughters, and the property team wanted to make this year extra memorable. Linda and Erin of the Homewood team personalized elves with the girls’ names on them, and then hid candy canes around their room for the girls to find.
